Lydia Scafidi is a Senior at VCU. She grew up surrounded by a tight knit Sicilian family that continues to grow. She places a high value on family, spirituality and self discovery. Lydia loves to travel and explore the world and believes it is very important for girls to have role models as it gives them a guideline to help them achieve their goals. Lydia  hopes to learn more about amazing women during her time with j. jane and intends to apply their advice to her life.

Pamela Nicole Cristi

Dream Job: Public relations liaison for a fashion publication company such as Condé Nast.

Pamela is from Tucson, Arizona and has gathered a lot of cultural experience in 21 years. From living in Manaus, Brazil to having family in Santiago, Chile she is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and is currently learning French. Having traveled quite a bit to see different backgrounds and walks of life, she is touched by the influence of sharing others stories and impacting others. Pamela joined the j. jane conversation as an intern and is looking forward to take the lessons and experiences from this opportunity and use them to grow both personally and professionally.

Carola Rojas

Dream Job: Part of a PR team that specializes in the print and media entertainment business

Carola Rojas is from La Paz, Bolivia yet grew up in the U.S. and is currently a student at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Having been a mentor plenty of times before, she is amazed by the impact and importance of communication among peers. Carola joined the j.jane conversation as a summer 2015 intern and is looking forward to expand her base understanding of positive and moving relationships between women.

Elizabeth Ellen is a student at Virginia Commonwealth University, and has a passion for communications. Outside of the academic world, she is a self proclaimed sports fanatic. As a daughter, sister, and friend she sees the importance of mentors in her life. Elizabeth Ellen joined the j. jane team for her summer internship because she sees the project as a chance for both personal and professional growth.

Olivia Sullivan has grown up singing Beatles songs on the piano bench with her sister. She understands the importance of connecting through what you do and what passions you have. Sisterhood is one of those for her. Olivia joined the j.jane conversation as an intern and appreciates the opportunity to expand her knowledge of design and strategy.
